Parents and Student Support
Parents are encouraged to support their students in their online course(s). Parents can:
- Make sure the equipment is up-to-date if the student is working from home
- Make sure the student is following local school policies and ACCESS policies
- communicate with school and teacher(s) if questions arise
- Encourage student to work to the best of their ability
- Ask the student to talk about their coursework and share what they are learning.
- Have the student show where assignments have been completed and submitted
- Monitor progress by checking students' grade(s) in PowerSchool
