What Is ACCESS?

ACCESS Virtual Learning provides Alabama students in grades 6–12 with access to high-quality online courses taught by Alabama-certified teachers. Through partnerships with local schools, ACCESS expands educational opportunities by offering core courses, Advanced Placement (AP), Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways, credit recovery, world languages, electives, and more.

Graduation Requirements

With more than 140 courses, ACCESS provides all of the classes students need to meet Alabama’s graduation requirements.

Expanded Curriculum

With ACCESS, students can choose from a variety of electives and specialized courses to broaden their interests and enhance their academic experience.

CTE Pathways

ACCESS offers seven complete Career Technical Education pathways that help students build practical skills and prepare for college and the workforce.
